The operator

RL Environment Companies (rlenvironmentcompanies.com) is run by Joe Trewick trading as Grub Leads, which is responsible for your personal data. You can contact us at support@grubleads.com.

RL Environment Companies is a matching service. We do not do the work ourselves. We introduce you to a vendor, who pays us for the introduction.

Fields on the brief form

When you use the quote form we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
• the details you give about the job, such as size, use, budget and timing
• your IP address, the page you sent the form from, and the wording you agreed to

Purpose

We use your details to find a vendor who can help with your request. We rely on your consent, which you give when you send the form.

We then contact you to tell you which firm we have found. We only pass your details to that firm after you tell us you are happy for us to. If we cannot find a firm within a reasonable time, we tell you and delete your request.

If you stop part way through the form, we keep what you entered so far for the same purpose, and delete it if the request is not completed.

We do not send you marketing, and we do not sell your details to anyone else.

Recipients

Your details go to:

• the vendor we name to you, and only after you agree
• the companies that host this website and store our records for us, under contracts that protect your data

Retention

We keep your name, phone number, email address and IP address for 12 months, then delete them. We keep a record of the request without those details, so we can count how many requests the site receives.

Access, correction and erasure

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will reply within 45 days.

Cookies and visit counting

We count visits with a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies or identify you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Money and data

Our income is a referral fee that an RL environment builder may pay once a team we put in touch with it signs a contract. Teams are never charged. Training data, task files, model outputs and code never pass through this site in either direction.

Residents of US states

A number of US states with consumer privacy statutes may treat an introduction that earns us a referral fee as selling or sharing personal data. Refuse it by email or on our opt-out page; we log each refusal against its date.

State law may further allow you to see the record we keep about you, correct it, or have it erased, without being penalized for asking. Brief-form details are never used for ad targeting. The site is aimed at working adults and does not knowingly take details from minors under 16.

Consent log, kept five years

Under US calling and texting law a complaint may be brought long after the event, so a consent log (the phone number, timestamp, IP address, page address and the exact consent text shown) is held for five years. Names and email addresses are still erased when the retention period above runs out.
